I don't stop at the code.
I'm Sébastien Fontaine, and I've been a developer since 2011.
I started on Réunion Island at logiCells (2011–2016), building applications and evolving an in-house software engine. In parallel, I founded my own company, Papang Production, in Montpellier (2014–2018). I then became Tech Lead at GlobalExam (2019–2023), working on language learning platforms for B2B and B2C. Since October 2023, I've been a Senior AI Developer at HeyTeam in Paris, where I design AI assistants and agents.
Alongside my roles, I've been freelancing since 2018. I work with a few long-term clients, including a 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel for more than 10 years.
What defines my work: I don't stop at the code. Databases, AWS infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, incidents: I care about what happens once an application is in production. That's what lets me build AI systems that actually work.
Outside client work, I experiment: running models locally on GPUs, open-source projects under the FuryBee name, and game development.
