The product
Naburia publishes and sells books created with the help of AI and directed by their authors: catalogue, author accounts, purchase and EPUB/PDF download, reviews restricted to buyers, and a transparency charter on the tools used.
Under the hood
- Manuscripts (DOCX, ODT, Markdown, PDF…) are automatically converted to EPUB 3 (Pandoc, validated with epubcheck) and A5 PDF (Typst) by a worker.
- A job queue in PostgreSQL, with locking and retries.
- Files are served from private S3 storage, via signed URLs and after an access check.
